A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where I learned to ask better questions, find the story, and communicate clearly. That foundation continues to shape how I approach content today.

My Story

My career started in journalism, which means I was trained to get to the point, ask better questions, and think about who’s actually reading. That instinct has shaped everything I’ve done since. Over the past decade, I’ve led content and communications initiatives across financial services, healthcare, telecom, law, non-profit, and wellness organizations, working with everyone from large institutions like CIBC and RBC to mission-driven startups.

I started Your Content Lounge because I kept seeing the same problem: organizations investing heavily in content without stopping to ask what it was supposed to achieve. Too often, content becomes a production exercise rather than a strategic one. The pages get published, the campaigns go live, and everyone wonders why nothing changes. I’m more interested in the thinking that happens before the writing — the strategy, structure, and decisions that make content useful, effective, and worth creating in the first place.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in a spin class, exploring a trail somewhere in British Columbia, or writing simply because I enjoy it.
